Top PPV Network Reviews

PPV, or pay per view, simply means that you only pay when a potential customer actually views your ad. This is also known as CPV or cost per view. When we refer to ppv we are talking solely about the companies which use adware to display ppv ads. Adware is a downloadable software which is usually installed by the user in exchange for something such as screensavers, online games, toolbars, etc. This downloadable software will then display ads in the form of popups or popunders whenever a user is online browsing.
Considering that we are only referring to PPV Networks which are utilizing adware, these will be the only companies that we rank. We will list some of the other PPV traffic sources but will not go into an in depth review.
We will list our top PPV Networks in order of profitibility from our experience. We weigh things such as amount of ppv traffic available, amount of competition which correlates directly with the actual cost per view, quality of traffic, conversion ratio, and overall ROI. Keep in mind that these are our opinions and others may experience varying results. We have listed the top PPV Networks below beginning with our most recommended and ending with our least favorite.
The Top PPV Networks
1. Traffic Vance – No surprise here. However, we are finding it more and more difficult to return an acceptable ROI with TrafficVance. This is mainly due to the competition. They are by far the most popular of the PPV traffic sources and it definately shows in the bid prices.
Pros: Excellent traffic volume & excellent user base. There traffic converts better than any other PPV network in our opinion. This has a lot to do with the fact that Traffic Vance owns their user base and is not out buying traffic from other networks which can sometimes be viewed as junk traffic. Best user interface in our opinion.
Cons: $1,000 minimum deposit. This is both good and bad in my opinion. It’s tough on some that may not have the money to invest but it also keeps the rifraf out and the newbies that have no idea what they are doing other than driving up bid prices. High competition thus higher bid pricing.
You may remember that we made a post regarding Traffic Vance now adding International traffic. This is in our opinion will put Traffic Vance leaps and bounds ahead of everyone.
2. Lead Impact – formerly Zango
Pros: The second most traffic behind Traffic Vance. Bid prices are relatively cheap compared to TrafficVance. Traffic converts relatively well, could be better but the amount of ppv traffic and the bid prices makes up for the inferior conversion rate. Our second highest ROI.
Cons: It is tough to get your ads reviewed at times. It can sometimes be days before ppv ads are reviewed if you don’t email them every time you set up a new campaign. As stated above, the traffic does not convert nearly as well as some of the other PPV Networks.
3. AdOn Network - Keep in mind that with AdOn Network your ads are being shown in a popunder window rather than a popup.
Pros: PPV traffic is very cheap compared to Traffic Vance. Traffic converts relatively well. PPV targets start at just $.005.
Cons: Low traffic compared to some of the other networks. They do have a tendency to send some junk traffic from time to time. You can check for junk traffic by running a report and looking for Partner ID 111211. You need to message your Rep. for approval every time you create new campaigns or else they will be pending for days.
4. Media Traffic
Pros: New PPV campaigns are quickly reviewed for approval. Traffic converts better than AdOn Network & Lead Impact.
Cons: Well, they didn’t get the nickname Media “NO” Traffic for nothing. Bid prices can also get quite high especially in relation to the amount of traffic that MediaTraffic has.
5. Linksador
Pros: PPV traffic converts very well. Not alot of competition at the moment. Quick ppv campaign approvals.
Cons: Very low amount of ppv traffic. User Interface is not the friendliest.
6. Direct CPV
Pros: Well, they are #6 for a reason… we currently don’t have too many pros for DirectCPV. Keep in mind though that they are new and experiencing growing pains. They do have a decent amount of ppv traffic but we just haven’t found much to convert yet. Their user interface is much better now that they have re-done it so we will be spending a lot more time testing them. I just couldn’t stand the old cumbersome interface and refused to spend very much time with it.
Cons: Conversions seem to be lower than the others. New ppv campaigns can be pending for days if you don’t message your Rep. Our referrer stats are showing that they have been sending junk traffic from time to time.
7. Adoori – We don’t have much too report on them right now. Adoori is a new network in which we are just beginning our tests. We will report back with our findings once we have some history behind us.
You will notice that we did not rank Clicksor, AdBrite, MegaClick, or CPVMarketplace. This is intentional as we do not view them as true PPV Networks or PPV Traffic Sources. These companies serve ads based on the publisher’s website content rather than a software app. being installed on the users computer. Targeting for these 4 companies is far inferior to the PPV Networks in which we have ranked above.
I wrote this up rather quickly and will be adding to it in the near future. Most importantly though, the rankings are based on our experience and our ROI, so it is a good baseline for most to base their ppv marketing decisions.

Hi,
This is very helpful information especially for me- New to this field. The info you provide here cost more than $100 to other PPV membership sites out there.
Do you have any other resources about this topic PPV/CPV to recommend.
And 1 thing, they are talking about list of KWs to use. Can I use the KWs generated from Adwords Free KW tools, from KW Elite or KWs from Market Samurai – Sorry but I am kind of confuse about this.
The qualifiers of good KWs suppose to be with good number of searches?
Again, many thanks. I seldom can find this kind of free info you provide and without affiliate links too.
Have a good day.
Richard
With PPV you are better off targeting URL’s rather than keywords. Keywords are fine as long as they are extremely targeted, try to stay away from anything broad.
Take that list of keywords and scrape the top sites from Google, Alexa, Quantcast, Compete, etc., relating to those keywords. You will then have a targeted list of URL’s which directly correlate to the list of keywords that you had. You are now able to serve the customer exactly what they want, when they are looking for it.
Any word on Adoori yet?
Also, which network would you consider as a favorite?
I’m thinking about joining up with LeadImpact…or, maybe Linksador.
Many thanks.
I just checked out Linksador’s web page. Everything looks nice, but I can’t seem to contact them regarding a few questions that I have. Every link on their web page that says ‘contact us’ leads to a form that doesn’t appear to be working – at least, it doesn’t seem to be sending my message through.
Since you have experience with this network, maybe you can answer some of my questions here? ………………………………………………………………………….
Hello. I am interested in signing up for your affiliate/publisher ppv program, and I have a few questions that I’d like to clear up before deciding on which ppv network to go with.
1. Do you allow direct linking (or do I need a web page/landing page of my own)?
2. What is your current user/consumer (opt-in) base and your current publisher (affiliate/marketer) base?
3. Do you allow gambling and/or adult advertisements/offers/products?
4. What are the most popular/profitable niches that your publishers are currently seeing, and/or what do your affiliate managers suggest (niche-wise) to someone that is looking for optimal conversion rates? (I was thinking lead generation…)
5. Which contextual/ppv advertising method is the most popular (e.g. pop-ups vs. new tab vs. new window etc.), and what are the base/starting bid prices for said method?
Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
JF

Many thanks.
You can get a lot of good info from Richard: rich|at|linksador|dot|com
Tell him account fbeach73 sent you. You can get all kinds of info from him but in a nutshell, you can do everything with them that you can do at trafficvance and other popular cpv networks!
Some good info here dude. I’d put MediaTraffic a little higher up the list based on my own experiences but it’s tough to rank them when some niches can work better than others.
It’s worth taking in to account how much of the installed userbase is USA traffic compared to international. And of course, what the user was installing in the first place…
Hi
Thanks for your information.
Seems is little hard to get into that network. Linksador gate is closed now.
———-
As of 3/25/2010 Linksador Pay Per View Network has reached its Beta advertiser limit. We will no longer be accepting any new advertisers into our network unless you are referred by an existing member until after Beta testing is complete.
———-
Any case I submit my application.
You can give me your permissions for use your referral name, please?
thanks
doru
I have been using Linksador because bids are low and converts great. But, traffic levels are low and the interface is buggy. I have been talking to Dan at linksador and he has assured me that the interface is going to get a major update soon.
I also use
trafficvance: bids are out of control but converts great
mediatraffic: traffic is high but doesn’t convert as well and bids are also kind of high
directcpv: quality of traffic is not that great but can send a lot of traffic
Thank you for this article. Just what I was looking for.
Curious:
I just looked at my stats on a campaign I launched last-night through DirectCPV. Their stats show…
179 hits to site X
But my tracking software only shows 71 hits from that site, and 209 hits from “BLANK”
Is this junk traffic? (or maybe something else?)
How do you respond to this?
What do you say when you call out the network on JT?
Also…
When you target a URL like this: http://www.example.com/
Does that then target every subdomain of the site as well?
Your response/knowledge is appreciated.
Thank you!
Awesome review of the PPV networks out there! You mentioned TrafficVance having their own userbase. I am certain that is the case with LeadImpact as well. I think the rest of your list just shares each others users, so while you think you are buying on one network you are really just getting lost in the arbitrage game.
Thank you for the great information, I have been trying to find good info. on PPV, and this help me a lot.
This site help me put some very important pieces of the puzzle together, thank you.
If I’m getting it right it looks like the best way to get started in this business is to use a keyword tool source, find the most targeted keywords for the niche you choose, drop those keyword into some of the major search engines, and use the first few URL’s that come up (scrape), finally; connect a good landing page with our best/affordable choice of lead resources as reviewed here, and take a leap of faith that this will produce a return on investment (ROI) that will justify the investment.
Okay, I think I got it, what else can I do, or how can I improve, did I get it right? I’m gona do somethin, ain’t afraid to I scared, lol
Really.. TV had the best conversions for you? I always got my highest conversions though MediaTraffic. I guess everyone does things differently though.
Thanks for the great write up, I think I might try out Linksador.
Cheers.
I’ll have to try PPV traffic out.
Linksador is low traffic but good quality, MT is great too i guess it all depends on the vertical and what you are selling. Credit, mobile and edu offers can do well on MT, and Im sure there are many more. What do you advertise on there with success? * not campaign specific, but vertical-speaking
Thanks love the blog!
I do love traffic vance however the bids are getting out of control so i tried joining some of the others you have listed here. I went to Linksador but its closed to new members any word on that? Says they only allowing 500 members into their network is there any way or do you know of any way to get in?
Ill try Adoori, looks like a nice site. Ill let you know how it converts for me.
Cheers.
If you want to contact me direct with more info I can definitely get you in at linksador – please email me, admin at domain here dot com
As well, I am hearing +ve things about Adoori, as well, a new and obscure one, jema media – they are definitely on my list of “to check out” after I get some projects out of the way
Cheers, thx for dropping by
ps: I do agree on tvance bids getting inflated. I guarantee we are a small group using the bot here, but competition is rampant no matter where, people actually outsource workers to work fulltime at updating their target bids.. I cannot imagine that
Hey everyone. I have been out of the loop for a while. I used to do email marketing and have access to many many good converting offers. Some with just a zip code submit but that pays only $1.50 per submit. Are these the kind of offers that ppv marketing could do well or would I need products paying $10.00 and up for a lead or a sale.
Thanks
Mike
What usually converts well with these ppv networks? High or low paying affiliate programs.
Thanks
Mike
I have a few new products and services i am providing consumers, heres a couple:
cnetportal.net – $19.99 gross sale
cnetportal.net/cxax/spin.htm $1.75 gross earning
I ahve been in aff marketing for 7 years and normally focus on edu and diet offers so the verticles are new to me.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am also lookign to hire freelance advertisers to promote the above sites. Offering 60% profit sharing!!! email me at admin at cnetportal dot net to apply.
thank you
This information is useful as is, but I’m wondering if you have any updates. I’ve been using Direct CPV for about 2 weeks and have a lot of traffic, but no conversions. Looking at analytics, I’m thinking the Keyword campaigns might eventually yield more than the URL campaigns. Your opinion? Thanks!
Direct CPV can be very finnicky. You really have to apply the method of spending to earn here I find. What I mean, is that you will need to work to find decent traffic urls and or kw’s and once you do, you really need to spend what your offer pays, even 1.5X in some cases *leadgen style cpa offers, 5-12$ payouts.
I would agree on the possibility of KW’s doing well at dcpv, just because of the traffic you might get (more) using that method, but this is something I have not tested heavily (I dont use them as much as other networks right now.) please report back soon!
If that’s not borderline spam, Im not sure what is. Go ahead though, nice work using scrapebox I guess lol
With trafficvance, anything.. MT, LI and others, u get more of a younger base I find.. so possibly more lead gen. (as well, LI turns out to be a heck of a volume network, which is conducive to email list building!)
