Setting Up a PPV Campaign

The entire process for a PPV setup or Pay Per View ad campaign is not as complex as you may think. Of course, this may depend on the level of advertising that you wish to use, what your advertising budget is, the amount of testing that you are going to be doing with your PPV Campaigns and which PPV Networks that you are using. Your PPV Setup will also depend on what you are promoting, whether it is a product or a service or if you are just taking care of a campaign and doing a PPV Setup for the promotion of a website to capture leads or to build a marketing list.

One of the first things that you have to do for your PPV set up is to research relevant keywords and url’s that are going to be searched for your particular products or services. These keywords and url’s are going to be the ones used in the actual popup ads that you present to the user after you have completed your PPV Setup and are ready to actually place the ads and go live with your PPV campaign.

While the research for your PPV setup is important, it is also necessary to remember that you will have to do continued testing of your PPV Campaign. Any endeavor in marketing is constantly being affected by what is known as “The Six Week Cycle” or any variation thereof. In other words, what worked yesterday may not work tomorrow. If you catch a potential client on a day when their spouse has left, taken the kids with them and run over the dog as they left in your customer’s vehicle, that customer may not be as inclined to purchase from you as they would if you caught them right after they met the new special someone in their life, won the lottery and found out life was perfect. In the information age when Impulse Markets are based on instant gratification, testing and modification are often paramount in your marketing success.

When you are working on the PPV setup, you need to make room for continued testing of your PPV ads and your overall PPV campaign. One of the most popular methods for this PPV testing is to rotate multiple ads and then to dispose of the ads that do not perform so well. Repeating this cycle may mean that you have to go through a more involved PPV setup and do it more often but it should also help you in maximizing the desired results and financial returns on your PPV Campaign. The PPV setup in its entirety really is about a lot more than just setting up a single PPV campaign and letting it run its course; it is about making certain that your PPV ads are always working at peak performance to make them more profitable for your business.
